Having built Sainsbury’s Blackhall, Edinburgh, store in 1996, we were selected as a framework contractor working in partnership for new builds, extensions and fit outs. In the decade that followed we undertook varied and often complex developments across the UK.
As a framework partner, work is allocated early in the process, often before obtaining planning consent, which enables us to involve our supply chain partners and designers in value management and engineering techniques to improve buildability and drive out waste. This process has led to greater certainty of project time and budgeted cost.
