This project at Hampstead involved the design and construction of a new modern languages and art, design & technology building on a confined site at the rear of the school. The buildings, framed in concrete on piled foundations, provide in excess of 2100m² of accommodation over two and three storeys. Brick elevations are Flemish bond with corten steel wall cladding.
A five-week-long value engineering exercise helped us to win this scheme.
