Pallister Park & Lingfield
Working with Middlesborough Council, we refurbished and extended Pallister Park and Lingfield Primary Schools, building a new extension and carrying out the assciated external works.
At Pallister Park Primary School a new 26 place nursery extension was built to replace an old well-used and deteriorating mobile classroom. The reception classrooms were relocated and refurnished in order to rationalise the flow of children through the school.
The work at Lingfield Primary involved extending the exisiting school and undertaking a programme of refurbishment work, which included, having to swap the nursery and administration areas over, placing the nursery nearer to the reception classroom. The reasoning behind this move was to bring the overall extension closer to allow easier access for the children.
"In particular we would like to comment on the excellent service provided by our site manager [Darren Thompson] who has been wonderful. Nothing has been too much trouble for him and the working relationship between him and the school staff has been such that all difficulties have been easily and amicably overcome. All workers on site have ensured minimum disruption to the work of the school. "
