The Centre, a 650,000sqft shopping mall, forms an extension to the existing Almondvale Shopping Centre and links to the McArthur Glen Centre. Throughout the entire construction period, these two malls were kept operational, and a safe pedestrian access was maintained through the middle of the site.
The Centre's ETFE roof is one of the most complex geometric shapes produced using this material in Europe.
Our Communities Liaison Manager was nominated for the Land Securities into Action award which recognises those within Land Securities Group who go above and beyond the call of duty. We were commended for “smoothing the cracks that were bound to appear while a huge development was being constructed on the doorstep”.
