Designed as a gateway landmark to the city, Salford Innovation Forum is a three storey, steel framed structure, distinctively ‘Salford Red’ and features stunning Reglit glazing.

The building is the hub of innovative growth in Salford, providing bespoke ‘incubator’ units for emerging small businesses, education development areas and community initiative pavilions.

A two stage design-and-build route allowed our early collaboration with the client and design team, enabling the project’s success and a “very good” BREEAM rating.

A full height atrium with a feature staircase acts as a focal point, with a cafe area accessible to all users of the business park.  Secured and controlled parking for 164 cars is also provided.

“The project was not always straight forward but challenges were overcome with a minimum of difficulty. Millers displayed a partnering attitude that was always present throughout the whole project lifecycle. This management style has culminated in the provision of a building that fully satisfies the client’s wishes.”
