The New Ford Primary School project consists of the construction of new classrooms, new hall extension, internal alterations, external works and associated services.
The reconfiguration of the internal layout means that the staff and pupils are able to go about their daily business in a more orderly manner, as years of smaller alterations have made traffic flow within the school increasingly difficult. In order to improve the learning environment, more windows have been introduced into the classrooms. Large roof overhangs mean that the rooms will not overheat during the summer months. The latest interactive white board's have been installed in the new classrooms, further enhancing the learning environment.
New Ford Primary School is one of 15 schools within Stoke City Council's plan to increase capacity in Primary School's over the next two years.
