The £11million centre was built through the New Deal for Communities (NDC) regeneration programme. Residents in the four NDC neighbourhoods prioritised the funding of the centre to improve health and fitness within the area and also create a community hub.
We were involved in the initial consultation, assisting in planning the complex facility which includes a four court sports hall, two court floodlit external MUGA, gym, café, conference & first aid facilities, Advice Centre and Police Liaison & Social Services Offices.
