This mixed-use development was our first job for Kendal Riverside Ltd and comprised over 80,000 sq ft of premium factory outlet space; restaurants and cafes; tourist facilities; a Heritage Centre; 25,000 sq ft of offices; 90 luxury riverside apartments and 400 underground car parking spaces.
The 300,000 sq ft Riverside Place scheme was built on the site of the former K Village Outlet Centre in Kendal, where a complete re-development of the existing site was carried out.
The state-of-the-art shopping centre and leisure complex will create 300 full and part-time jobs and is expected to attract over 1.5 million visitors a year.
The residential apartments which were available from Autumn 2010 were 50% forward sold prior to completion.
