The project involved the provision of a new main entrance building for Heartlands Hospital, comprising a mixture of retail and office space around generous circulation areas, providing a focal point for visitors with links directly into the existing hospital street.
The project was completed within a live health environment and its design incorporates modern, clean dynamics to compliment the exisiting more traditional structures elsewhere on the campus.
This is a PFI contract for BHE (Heartlands) Ltd, who will hand the building to Birmingham Heartlands Hospital NHS Trust after 25 years.
