Harton Staithes Business Centre Poster Competition
Miller Construction, currently building the new Harton Staithes business centre at South Shields gave two local primary schools the opportunity to have their art work displayed on the hoarding panels on site, following a poster competition.
Delivering health and safety presentations to two local primary schools, Hadrian Primary School and Marine Park Primary School, warning them about the dangers of playing on construction sites, Miller Construction launched a poster competition. The winner from each school has had their art work unveiled on site.
Miller Construction interacts closely with the communities where we work and understands the importance of building strong relationships with schools in order to educate pupils about the dangers of building sites.
The winning posters, measuring an impressive 2.5 metres by 1.5 metres, deliver important health and safety messages which the children learned from the presentations.
The finished posters allowed the winning pupils to display their full understanding of the safety messages delivered, while importantly sharing the message with others through their creative skills.
