Works commenced in September 2009 to convert an existing hospital building into a new state of the art polyclinic.
The work involved the strip out of the two storey concrete framed building with raised access floors, ceilings and partitions, including a computer centre, and the replacement of the existing windows.
This was followed by the complete internal remodelling of the building including installation of a platform lift and formation of GP consulting rooms, minor ops, treatment rooms and pharmacy along with support facilities such as training and internet/ library zone.
