We completed Forth Valley College's Alloa Campus in June 2011 on the site of the old Hawkhill Primary School in the centre of the town.

The development is the largest investment in a public sector building in the town for decades and provides state-of-the-art facilities for students and the local business community.

The new Alloa Campus has space for up to 2900 students per academic year and includes high tech-specification teaching rooms, workshops, gym and cafeteria.

The Campus welcomed its first cohort of students in August 2011, offering modules of study in subjects such as construction, engineering, motor vehicle maintenance, science, business, computing, childcare and education, creative industries, hairdressing and beauty therapy.

We are also working on updating the Forth Valley College campus in Stirling which will support a further 130 construction jobs and approximately 40 work experience students.

"Miller Construction has a superb reputation for educational new-builds and we are very pleased to have them on board as contractors for stage one of our estates development in Alloa and Stirling.

"We are confident Miller Construction is the best candidate to help us realise our vision for the future of Forth Valley College.  At a time when recession is having such a significant impact on the building industry it is good to be able to bring two such major projects to Forth Valley. We will be working with Miller Construction to optimise local benefits and opportunities as the projects progress."
