Earning a Better Public Building award, we delivered a sustainable, energy efficient and completely recyclable public facility, aesthetically harmonious with its surroundings.
With features including larch cladding, recycled-tyre roofing, a solar collector for heating water, photovoltaic tiles to provide electricity and a sustainably-powered biomass boiler, the building was created with locally sourced eco-friendly materials and energy-saving construction techniques.
