Following the success of the Beatson Oncology Unit, this 1,200 sqm building was commissioned to house cutting edge cancer diagnosis, treatment and research equipment including two PET (Positron Emission Tomography) Scanners and a Cyclotron with associated Hotcells and clean room laboratory.
The project was challenging as it combined understanding the procurement & installation of high precision scientific equipment with normal building construction processes.
